Shipper Receiver

We are seeking an experienced  Shipper Receiver/Order Picker to work closely with the Warehouse team to prepare and fill individual orders for shipment. 
The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, and detail oriented in their tasks.  This position requires computer knowledge within Excel and SAP.  This position will transition into a Shipper/Receiver position for the qualified candidate.

This job offers …

• Day Shift (7:30am – 4:00pm) Mon – Fri
• $21.50/hr starting wage (DOE)
• 40hrs per week and weekly pay
• Leading to permanent for the right candidate

What you’ll be doing …

• Fulfillment orders – including picking merchandise, packing products, and affixing shipping labels in accordance with regulations
• Prepare for fulfillment orders by reorganizing inventory
• Communicate any problems with product, components, etc to Team Lead
• Adhere to shipping guidelines for multiple in-house brands

• Complete regular daily inventory cycle counts and occasionally larger inventory counts
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials/supplies in stock, recording inventory location
• Read work orders or receive verbal instructions for work assignments
• Read orders to determine catalog numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise
• Prepare requisition orders and submit to Purchasing
• Transport filled orders to staging area or shipping department
• Stock shelves and keep stock clean and in order
• Complete daily production sheets or work tickets

Skills and experience that make you a great fit….

• 2+ years of experience working in a warehouse
• 1+ years of experience working in a production and/or manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to at least 25 lbs. for 8-hour shifts
• Positive attitude and collaborative approach to working in a team
• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office programs
• Knowledge of Purchasing and Receiving documents and processes
• Familiar with computer-based receiving
• Able to provide a clear Criminal Record Check
• Forklift experience or willing to train
