FT Security Guard/Korean Translator

Securitas Inc.

This is a Full-time position in Windsor, ON posted December 2, 2024.

Securitas is currently seeking security guards for a day shift position at our client site in Windsor Ontario. This role will require the successful applicant(s) to be fluent in Korean and English, both in oral and written communication. This role will be based at our client’s front desk and be responsible for translating for visitors and client employees when needed.

Location: Windsor, ON

Pay Rate: $25.00/hr

Shifts Available: Monday to Friday: 0700-1500hrs

SUMMARY

Maintains security and safety of people and property in assigned data center. Observes and reports activities and incidents. Duties will include supervising the use of wand and metal detectors, service enhancement, and training.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS:

  • Valid Security license.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid Certificate.
  • 1 year of security experience is preferred.
  • Fluent in Korean and English both oral and written communication.
  • G Class Drivers Licence and vehicle.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a reliable means of communication, such as cell phone.
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
  • Must have the legal right to work in Canada.
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
  • Must have a high school diploma, secondary education equivalent, or GED.

COMPETENCIES

  • Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and service delivery orientation.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making skills.
