At our Thornhill location, we service Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac vehicles. We have a large client database, and we need your help to keep up with customer demand.Roy Foss Thornhill is seeking an experienced Tower Operator/Service Dispatcher. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in this role. This individual is passionate, professional, has a positive attitude, and shares our obsession with customer service. If this sounds like you, come join our team. Position Summary:Duties include, but may not be limited to:* Plans, organizes, leads, and controls the flow of service work through the service department in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality repairs at a fair cost to the customer.* Dispatch service work, assigning to qualified techs to maximize shop production* Monitor job status: communicate changes (time, cost, etc) to advisor* Manage route sheet and update RO log with accurate priorities, promise times* Regularly reviews all holds and ensures there are no maydays* Ensure techs prepare proper RO Documentation/stories: complaint, cause, correction* Ensure techs follow proper guidelines (including warranty material disposition)* Prioritizes customer vehicle comebacks and assigns to appropriate tech* Write internal repair orders and prepare/send estimates* Manage detailing operation and ensure all work is properly dispatched and completed on time* Dispatch/prioritize fleet service work* Support with opening/closing RO’s as needed* Maintain and update rental invoices for Accounts Receivable* Support with warranty claims and provide documentation to CAC as requested* Support drive thru in service advisor role as needed Requirements* High school diploma or general education degree (GED);* Two to Three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience* Automotive dealership or similar experience a definite asset* Self motivated with a positive attitude * Valid G Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract What we bring to the table:* A great compensation package with unlimited earning potential* Career advancement opportunities* Strong training program* Strong management support* Full benefits program* Team atmosphereWe thank all candidates, however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
