What we’re looking forWe’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized professional with strong event coordination and communication skills who thrives in a dynamic environment.The Co-ordinator, Events and Programs, Student Services plays a key role in supporting student engagement initiatives for the Ontario Dental Association (ODA). This position is responsible for coordinating student programs, events, and outreach activities to enhance student awareness and engagement with the ODA.What you’ll doIn this role, you will work with the Director, Member Services and practically speaking here are some of the responsibilities you’ll take on:* Implement and manage student-focused programs to enhance engagement with the ODA.* Develop and execute outreach strategies targeting Ontario-based and international dental students.* Maintain relationships with university faculty, student representatives, and external partners to support collaboration.* Plan and coordinate student events, including speaker selection, venue sourcing, registration, audiovisual setup, catering, and on-site execution.* Organize educational seminars, networking sessions, and workshops to enhance student engagement.* Develop and maintain marketing materials, website updates, and presentations to promote student programs.* Coordinate surveys, focus groups, and research initiatives to assess student needs and program effectiveness.* Track program metrics and student membership data to measure engagement and effectiveness.* Assist in preparing and monitoring program budgets.The ideal candidate possesses excellent event coordination skills, the ability to build strong relationships and a knack for multitasking.What you’ll bring* 2–5 years of experience in event coordination, program delivery, or student engagement within an association, education, or healthcare environment.* Experience working with universities, student programs, or member-based organizations is preferred.* Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office, Zoom, and event management tools.* University or college degree in event management, marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field.
