CNC Machinist

Our client, a leading manufacturer and supplier of innovative fluid handling systems, mixers, pumps and parts, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the production team supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, self-motivated, attentive to detail, and takes pride in doing a good job.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Georgetown, ON

Pay Range: $26 – $28 per year

What’s the Job?

• Liaise with Production Manager to ensure safety, quality and production targets are met.
• Interpret engineering drawings, procedures to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
• Preventative Maintenance of machines.
• Communicate with staff, managers, engineers, production control, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
• Liaise with management to identify areas of inefficiency.

What’s Needed?

• Graduate from a technical school or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years CNC Machining
• Understanding of Metrology
• Can select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines, such as mills, lathes.
• Follows all established safety procedures and practices.
• Experience with CNC Programming is a must.
