Heavy Vehicles Mechanic/Technicien véhicules lourds ( Certified 310T Mechanic )

The mechanic is responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles, according to the work order issued by the workshop foreman. They must work safely and follow the procedures established by the dealership and the corporation.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Safely perform the necessary repairs or maintenance listed on the work order with precision and efficiency, following dealership standards.
• Request parts required for truck repair in collaboration with the parts department.
• Follow procedures for all warranty repairs.
• Work closely with technical advisors and foremen to inform them of any additional required work or unforeseen issues.
• Document all work performed on the truck on the work order.
• Participate in training provided by the dealership.
• Diagnose trucks for repair and subsequently carry out the repairs.
• Conduct road tests with the vehicle if necessary.
• Report any equipment defects or malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Maintain and be responsible for work equipment and tools.
• Perform any other related tasks. *Tasks may vary depending on the mechanic’s experience and training.
