Quality Assurance Specialist

**Our client a manufacturer and distributor is looking to add a Quality Assurance Specialist to their team**

Job Details:

• Responsible for the execution of existing quality control processes
• Conduct incoming inspection of raw packaging materials and finished goods by comparing them against specifications and standards.
• Must be capable of using analytical tools such as scales, callipers and other digital instruments
• Support new product launches through package, transit and performance testing.
• Maintain quality standards and procedures.
• Track and report on Quality KPIs.
• Reports to Director of Operations.

What They Offer:

• Day Shift: 8:00am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday
• Pay Rate: $22.00-$25.00 an hour depending on exp.
• 4% Vacation Pay
• Paid Stat Holidays
• Potential to be hired on full time direct.

Experience Required:

• Minimum 2-3 years in a Quality Assurance/Quality Control role
• Must be capable of using analytical tools such as scales, callipers and other digital instruments
• Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Must be a team player
• Experience with KPI's and reporting
• Must have good MS Office exp including excel and reports
• Must be willing to work overtime when required
