You have a degree in engineering (mechanical, civil or equivalent) and significant experience in operations management or heavy industry. With excellent organizational skills and autonomy, you are recognized for your listening and communication skills, in both French and English.

Specifically, the Branch Operations Manager’s main responsibilities are to:
Operations planning and supervision: Organize, direct and coordinate all fleet lifting, transport and maintenance activities in line with the company’s operational objectives
Field team management: Supervise and manage site teams, allocate tasks and ensure the efficiency and safety of operations
Ensuring safety and compliance: Implementing safety and quality standards on worksites, carrying out risk assessments and ensuring that all preventive measures are complied with
Equipment fleet management: Oversee the maintenance, daily inspections and availability of lifting equipment, ensuring that it is functional and compliant with operational requirements
Coordination with subcontractors and partners: Manage relations with subcontractors, suppliers and other partners to ensure smooth operations
Customer Relationship Development: Act as a point of contact for customers understand their needs, provide responsive service and ensure customer satisfaction to maintain Boréal’s reputation as an industry leader
Administrative and logistical follow-up: Manage administrative aspects of operations (work orders, reports, inventory) and ensure effective coordination with administrative and financial departments
Compliance with corporate policies and OHS standards: Rigorously apply internal health, safety and environmental policies, while training staff in these procedures
Continuous improvement: Identify ways of optimizing operational processes and contribute to the ongoing improvement of department performance
Performance monitoring and team development: Participate in team evaluation and training, encourage skills development and foster a culture of collaboration and safety
