THE ROLE:
AMD is seeking a Sr. Corporate Counsel – Employee to join its legal team. The successful candidate will provide counsel and legal advisory service to AMD in HR and labour related matters for our Canada locations, and will be based at our location in Markham, Ontario. This role will also be assigned to provide employment law guidance on certain multi-jurisdictional employment law project areas, such as AMD’s disability accommodation processes, coordinating with outside counsel and other team members as needed. You will be a member of the AMD Global Employment Law team reporting into a manager based in the U.S., and will work closely with other corporate team members, including HR, Ethics and Compliance, Health & Safety, business unit leaders and other groups, to support AMD’s employment law needs in Canada and possibly Latin America.
