(Internal Title-Project Management IV)
The primary role revolves around producing the top-level functional, physical, and geographical system architecture diagrams for the railway project based on the existing architectural concepts created by a variety of third-party engineering organizations
Analyze the sub-systems' ICDs to produce the system architecture drawings
Create architecture viewpoints by organizing diagram objects into layers according to system breakdown structure and work schedules
Crosscheck the architecture diagrams against GIS database for verification
Maintain and update system library objects
Presents the system architecture diagrams to customers and/or other engineering/management teams
Collaborate with other disciplines i.e. Civils, Signalling, Integration, RAMS, Project Scheduling etc
Identify and define the workflow processes specific to the system architecture
Promotes a safety culture
Manage and implement the assigned projects from inception through to completion
Develop new project or program plans and expectations in consultation with and delegating deliverables to stakeholders, including clients
Determine and manage the human and material resources required to complete assigned projects successfully
Formulate a resource allocation strategy and utilize this to distribute work and budgets
Exercise authority in managing the work and control the delivery of the projects per project plans
Review and ensure adherence to the overall scope, schedule, and budget
Identify risks and entrench mitigation strategies and contingency plans
Monitor and report on performance against project requirements, schedule, milestones, budgets, quality measures, and KPIs, and address issues with corrective actions as appropriate to ensure excellence and adherence to specified deadlines
Evaluate the project's effectiveness by consulting with clients and other stakeholders
Establish and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to various audiences, including the project team, client executives, key stakeholders, and Operations
Lead scope change negotiations
Oversee ongoing quality control, participate in quality issue resolution, and manage internal quality control checks for the project
Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project and program life cycle
