SAP Sales and Distribution Functional Resource
Contract Term: 3 months, renewable
Work Location: Remote work in Canada
Enhanced Reliability security clearance required
Our client, a global leading IT company, is looking for an SAP Sales and Distribution Functional Resource.
The Contractor must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum 10 years of experience, as an SAP functional analyst performing all the following in the SAP module
I. Configuration,
II. Testing,
III. gathering business requirements,
IV. writing specification documents (e.g., Functional Designs, process models, configuration documents); and
V. providing analysis* and support.
The Contractor should demonstrate the proposed resource’s experience working on a module on a S4/HANA instance
The Contractor should demonstrate the proposed resource’s experience working on an SAP instance for the Canadian Federal Government
The Contractor should demonstrate that the proposed resource holds a current and valid SAP certification(s) issued by SAP

Tasks – SAP Functional Analyst
Each role must meet least 60% of the tasks below.
All tasks may be applicable and required for various SAP modules including but not limited to the modules identified below. Should new modules be implemented during the life of this contract, resources would be expected to assist with implementation of new modules and subsequently maintain it.
i. Develop and document SAP functional, business and/or system requirements specifications.
ii. Develop and document screen, report, and interface requirements in SAP.
iii. Develop functional, business and/or system interface or interaction capability as per specifications/requirements.
iv. Gather and analyze information to establish the functional and technical needs of a system or project.
v. Design methods and procedures for SAP modules that are integrated within an SAP solution.
vi. Develop, test, document and implement changes to SAP modules that are integrated within an SAP solution.
vii. Document forms, manuals, programs, interfaces, release notes, data files work instructions and procedures.
viii. Analyze data conversion requirements to determine data conversion strategies and mechanisms based on strategy.
ix. Analyze or document SAP Service Marketplace Support Portal notes in support of problem and change analysis.
x. Assist Business Analyst in the conduct of business and system requirements workshops.
xi. Provide knowledge transfer to departmental personnel on an on-going basis.
xii. Provide functional analysis, configuration, testing and fixes for existing SAP S/4 related to identified module(s).
xiii. Write or review technical specifications for ABAP programs and/or functional modules extracting, loading, or transforming data originating from or destined to SAP S/4
xiv. Write technical specifications for reports and/or dashboards developed in WebI, Lumira or other supported toolsets that report on data originating from SAP S/4
xv. Work in conjunction with SAP Basis, SAP Security, and other technical resources to define and document IT enabled solutions using SAP S/4 to satisfy business requirements
xvi. Provide support and guidance on SAP S/4 modules best suited to satisfy business requirements
xvii. Provide functional support and guidance to ABAP, Fiori, Reporting experts or other programmers developing solutions that extract, load, transform or report on data originating or destined to SAP S/4
xviii. Provide operational support for the deployment of changes to production environment.
xix. Write, review, or contribute to business requirements documents for business processes supported in SAP S/4
xx. Provide functional analysis and support to Quality Assurance (QA) and/or User Acceptance Testing (UAT) testers during functional, integration and/or acceptance testing
xxi. Update documents with approved configuration changes or recommendations
xxii. Adhere to project or departmental Change and Release Management processes
xxiii. Submit progress or status reports using existing templates
