Accounts Payable / Payroll Clerk

Manpower has a terrific opportunity for an experienced Accounting & Payroll Clerk or Bookkeeper to partner their skills and with a local communications company.  This position would be perfect for someone looking for part-time work, who is currently between jobs, and flexible for contract or temporary employment.

Accounts Payable / Payroll Clerk

• $23.00 – $25.00/hr
• 8:00am – 4:30pm (Mon – Wed)
• 24 hrs/week
• 3-month contract
• South end Barrie

What the role is:

• Receive vendor invoices and save to shared drive for finance approval
• Match PO to vendor invoice, ensuring required approval
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding outstanding invoices
• Reconcile credit card statements
• Billing
• Monitor A/P inbox
• Process weekly payroll (45 employees using QuickBooks online)
• Review, calculate and remit source deductions
• Calculate and remit WSIB premiums, issue ROE’s
• Assist with payroll inquiries, monitor payroll inbox

You offer:

• Post secondary education in accounting / finance
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel
• 2+ years’ experience working with QuickBooks online
• 2+ years’ payroll experience (ideally using QuickBooks online)
• 2+ years’ accounts payable processing (purchase order to payment)
