Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Sr Advanced Electrical Engineer to join their team. As a Sr Advanced Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting innovative hardware development. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr Advanced Electrical Engineer

Location: Mississauga, ON

Pay Range: $65-75/hr

What’s the Job?

• Perform various Electrical Engineering related activities including electronic/electrical (low power) circuit design & analysis, test procedure development and conduct testing.
• Investigate technical problems and establish corrective actions, manage changes, and prepare test reports.
• Overall technical coordination within the engineering functions supporting hardware development to ensure that all customer requirements are met.
• Lead technical design reviews with both internal & external customers.
• Collaborate with the team in resolving technical problems with both internal and external customers; investigate failures, identify root causes and implement permanent corrective actions.

What’s Needed?

• Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical/electronic circuit design.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical/electronics design, analysis, simulation, build, test and support processes.
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical/electronic product/circuit failures and identifying root causes down to component level.
• Eligible to work on defense projects; CGP clearance required.
• Experience in leading a small group of engineers is a plus.
