Schedule: 40 hours/week
Hourly rate: $37.72 to $42.43
The technician handles HVAC work requiring a TSSA G.2 certificate of qualification (maximum equipment input rating of 400,000 BTU/h) and a refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic’s certificate of qualification for the Corporation, including design and drawings for small-scale projects, as well as maintenance and repairs as required, using the appropriate equipment and tools.

- 2-year college degree in heating, refrigeration and air conditioning technology or other related fields;
- Certificates of qualification such as: TSSA Certificate of Qualification G.2, Certificate of Qualification for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic (Licence 313A), Ozone-Alert Card, Lockout;
- Ability to interpret instructions, laws, codes, regulations and construction plans;
- Knowledge and understanding of WHMIS;
- Valid driver's license;
- Mechanical aptitude;
- Bilingual (French and English);
- Autonomous and take initiative.
A criminal record check must be provided upon hiring only (dated no longer than three months prior to the date when it has been requested) and is a condition of employment.
