We are currently seeking a candidate who is qualified for the role of QA Inspector. The role of QA Inspector reports to the Quality Manager. Liburdi Dimetrics Corporation offers competitive wages. This temporary position is anticipated to last approximately 6 months. The hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm.

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Receiving and inspection of machined components, including comparing machined components to drawings, visual quality checks of machined components, reviewing vendor documents, and completing database transactions for record keeping.
• Performing dimensional inspections and generating inspection reports.
• Nonconformance reporting, including generating and documenting nonconformance reports, quarantining parts, and re-inspecting parts to confirm nonconformance is addressed.
• Communicating with suppliers regarding dimensional discrepancies.

Key Skill Requirements:

• Proficiency with dimensional inspection instruments
• Attention to detail
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, interpret part tolerances
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (word and excel)
• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
• Self managing and ability to take initiative
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to effectively follow health and safety and quality processes and policies

Key Experience:

• 2-5 years experience as a quality assurance inspector preferred
• Quality Assurance Technician / Technologist Certificate preferred
• Experience in the nuclear industry is preferred
• Machine shop experience preferred
• Experience with Coordinate-measuring machine is preferred
